"Practical Chinese", also know as "The Effective Way of Learning Reading, Writing, and Speaking Chinese", is a ten book series from beginner level to the advanced level and is especially designed for native English speakers.  The books currently have been used nationwide as textbooks or for self-study purposes, and can be found in some libraries in the USA and Canada.

These book series are available in both simplified and Traditional characters.  Pinyin is used through out the books.  The objectives of these books are as follows:
