In this sequel to the John Woo classic, Sung Tse Ho (Ti Lung) and his brother Tse Kit (Leslie Cheung) are undercover police agents collecting evidence of the counterfeiting activities of Lung's (Dean Shek) ship building company. The counterfeiting operation is actually being run by someone who wants to kill Lung and take over the corporation. The two brothers save Lung and escort him to New York to be taken care of by Ken (Chow Yun-Fat), an ex-killer living a quiet life in America. Later, Ken decides to help Lung return to Hong Kong, placing all of their lives in danger.
